Retail’s BIG Show Kicks Off with Passion, Personality and Place on January 15, 2017

The National Retail Federation’s Annual Convention & EXPO earned the nickname Retail’s BIG Show years ago and because the name was so appropriate, it stuck. Today, Retail’s BIG Show is NRF’s flagship event held annually in New York City. The three day event offers unparalleled education, collegial networking with 33,000 of your newest friends, and an enormous EXPO Hall full of technologies and solutions. Even after more than a century – 106 years to be exact – Retail’s BIG Show is still the only place where you can see and experience all things Retail because they’re always adding new programs and updating others.

Join JGA and a line-up of industry standouts on January 15th at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, NYC – 10:45 am – 11:30 am | Breakout Session Hall E, Room 1E 14, Level 1

Passion, Personality and Place: Reviving the In-Store Experience

Passion, personality and place are evolving as creative catalysts to revive the in-store experience. Stop the steady diet of markdowns and join the ranks of retailers who have found better solutions to drive traffic and maintain margins. Three retail leaders will examine how they have built their brand relationship with consumers: Matey Erdos illustrates how Sundance conveys Robert Redford’s passion for celebrating artists and craftspersons, David Levin of DXL offers a perspective on place in an all-inclusive superstore concept, and Fleurty Girl’s Lauren Haydel delivers personality with her grassroots efforts to celebrate all things New Orleans.
