Greenbelt Magazine Marketplace-Boise
Greenbelt Magazine Marketplace has been named First Place Winner as the “Best New Local Concept” in the 2016 Airports Council International “Excellence in Airport Concessions” Awards. The award was among three won by Paradies Lagardère in the competition. Congratulations Greenbelt Magazine and Paradies Lagardère!
Andiamo at DTW Airport-Detroit
Andiamo Restaurant Group, which operates nine restaurant throughout metro Detroit and one location in Las Vegas, has earned the Food & Beverage Concept Award from Airport Revenue News for its location at DTW Airport outside of Detroit. The concept competed against five national finalists to rise to the top. Way to go Andiamo and Midfield Concession Enterprises!
Hershey’s Chocolate World-Las Vegas
Hershey’s Chocolate World in Las Vegas was named Silver Award Winner in the Event Marketer Magazine 2015 Experience Design Awards for Best Permanent Retail Installation.The magazine described, “The two-story Hershey’s Chocolate World experience envelopes consumers in the brand’s 800-plus candy offerings, including entering the store through a six-story Hershey Bar.”
J. Baldwin’s-Clinton Township MI
Suburban Detroit restaurant J. Baldwin’s was recently named Silver Award Winner in the 12th Annual Detroit Home Design Awards. Designed by JGA, J. Baldwin’s offers guest settings ranging from a romantic dinner for two in the lounge, convivial drink and meal at the Bar, a special night at the Chef’s Table or in the Main Dining Room – everything from celebrating a family occasion for 40, to a quiet and comfortable dinner in one of a variety of custom designed booths and banquettes. J Baldwins brings a “downtown” sophistication combined with the warmth of a family restaurant where three generations of hospitality and passion for food live on.
Sleep Number Outlet-Houston TX
The Association for Retail Environments held the 2016 ARE Design Awards Gala last week at GlobalShop in Las Vegas. The new Sleep Number Outlet in Houston was named Gold Award winner for creating a simple, modern and dynamic Sleep Number brand experience that exaggerates the value proposition in a way that is convenient and effortless to the customer. The store becomes a 3-D selling tool – with technology in both the product and the experience. The experience is seamlessly integrated, simplifying the journey and decision process to be effortless and easy – where each element is intentional and additive to the process.
Sleep Number-Easton Gateway, Columbus OH
ARE also named the new Sleep Number flagship at Easton Gateway in Columbus as a winner at the 2016 ARE Design Awards event at GlobalShop. Winning the Silver Award for hardline specialty store category (3,001-7500 sf), the store creates a consumer-centric, interactive shopping environment that transforms a purely rational shopping experience to one that maximizes both rational and emotional appeals, and elevates the Sleep Number experience to the full potential of the brand. Breakthrough innovation and technology integration to elevate the brand experience provide a warm, approachable, simple and intuitive environment.
