Designers, artists and fabricators joined with Whole Foods Market to create a fusion of food and place through reclaiming, repurposing and even reimagining pieces of Detroit's past into an expression of Detroit's future. From reclaimed furniture and iconic elements, to an oversized panel element with a patchwork of signs rescued from the faded scrap pile, the space has become an eclectic and relevant diary of the past.
